Winter Path

SOLD!
“Winter Path” – 12″ x 12″ acrylic on gallery stretched block canvas. Sides are painted so that no frame is really necessary. This photo (photo credit James Burke with permission) depicts a quiet wintery path through snow and stillness, where the trees stand close and the season lingers. I was drawn to the way in which winter is holding the dead maple leaves hostage and left dangling on the branches in the background. The intertwined trunks and branches were fascinating and drew my eye more often than not. I hope you find the peace I found when viewing this scene. My style is photorealism and the details are where my heart lies.

Lake Victoria

‘Lake Victoria’ – Stratford ON CA – acrylic on 16”w x 12”h stretched canvass – photo reference provided courtesy of Fred Gonder, local photography extraordinaire.
My interest in landscape paintings has always been stimulated by the fall colors in Ontario. This city has a vibrant downtown which includes excellent walking paths around the lake and river. The fall colors are just exquisite.

Festival Park

Acrylic – 8″ x 11″ on gallery stretched canvas.
The park is actually much bigger than it looks in this painting. It lies beneath the Festival Theatre, which is home to many amazing theatre productions for most of the year, and beside Lake Victoria, in downtown Stratford Ontario. The park is used for many things such as soccer, cricket, picnics and occasionally firework displays. Honestly, I’m very lucky to be able to live here.

Silent Petals
